This policy covers the Google Workspace add-on Photo Slides for Google Slides, including its paid features (“the Add-on”), published by Daily Picks.

Summary

Adds the photos you pick as new slides at the end. Existing slides are not changed. Photos go only into this presentation and are not sent anywhere else. We do not operate a server or a database, and we cannot see your files.

Google user data the Add-on accesses (what it reads)

• Only the file you have open, and only while you use the sidebar: the number of slides and the slide size (to place the photos), and the slides it added in the last run (to remove them if you ask).
• The photos you pick are opened in your browser. They are resized there (if needed) and then passed to the add-on’s code on Google’s servers, which inserts them into the open presentation. The Add-on reads the date taken and orientation from the photos (EXIF) in your browser; it uses the file names and dates taken only to order the photos and for captions.
• The Add-on checks the ID of the open file and refuses any other ID.

How the Add-on uses Google user data

• The number of slides and the slide size are used only to add each photo on a new slide at the right size and position in the open presentation.
• The list of slides added in the last run is used only to remove those slides when you ask the Add-on to undo the last run.
• The ID of the open file is used only to make sure the Add-on works on the presentation you have open and no other.
• The photos you pick, with their file names and dates taken, are used only to insert the photos in the order and with the captions you choose.
• Google user data is used only to provide these user-facing features. It is not used for advertising, analytics or profiling, it is not sold, and it is not used to train generalized AI or machine-learning models.

What the Add-on stores

• If you activate a license, the license key, whether it is valid, when it was last checked and the number of activations are stored in your Google account’s add-on storage (user properties), not in the file.
• When you first open the sidebar, the date and time is stored in the same place, so that you can use the paid features free for 7 days from then. It is not sent anywhere.
• To let you undo the last run, the IDs of the slides it added (and the ID of the presentation) are stored in your user properties, until you remove those slides or start another run.
• While photos are being inserted, the plan for that run (the file names and dates taken of the photos, and their order) is kept in Google’s temporary add-on cache for up to 6 hours, then deleted automatically. The photos themselves are not kept anywhere except in the presentation.
• Nothing else.

What the Add-on does not do

• It only adds new slides at the end of the open presentation. It does not change or delete existing slides. “Remove the slides just added” deletes only the slides it added in the last run, and keeps any you have changed since.
• It does not create, read or change files in your Google Drive.
• It does not send your file’s content to us or to any third party.
• It does not use analytics, tracking, advertising, or cookies.
• We, the developer, cannot read your data. There is no mechanism by which we could.

Permissions (OAuth scopes) and why

We deliberately do not request drive or drive.readonly, and the Add-on has no permission to connect to outside services from its server code.

License verification (paid features only)

The Add-on talks to one service other than Google, and only to check a license: Gumroad (api.gumroad.com), where the license is sold.

• When: when you enter a license key, and about once a week after that, when you open the sidebar (to confirm the purchase has not been refunded or disputed).
• What is sent: only the license key, the product ID, and whether to count this as a new activation. Nothing about your files is sent.
• How: your browser sends it directly to Gumroad. The key is never sent to us.
• Gumroad’s response includes details of the purchase, including the email address used to buy it. The Add-on uses only whether the license is valid and the number of activations. It does not store or display the purchase email address.
• On screen, the key is shown only as its last four characters.
• The free version never contacts Gumroad.
• Gumroad’s handling of this data is governed by Gumroad’s privacy policy.

Sharing, transfer and disclosure of Google user data

We do not share, transfer, sell or disclose Google user data to anyone. This includes advertisers, data brokers, analytics providers, AI or machine-learning services, and any other third party.

• The content and name of the file you have open (the Google user data the Add-on accesses) are processed only inside Google’s own infrastructure (Google Apps Script) and in the add-on sidebar in your own browser. They are never sent to us, to Gumroad, or to anyone else.
• The only service other than Google that the Add-on contacts is Gumroad, and only to check a license. What is sent is the license key and the product ID, which are not Google user data. No file content and no Google account information is sent.
• Google user data is not used to develop, improve or train generalized AI or machine-learning models.
• No person reads your Google user data. We have no means to access it.
• Because we hold no copy of your data, we have nothing to disclose in response to a legal request.

How your data is protected

• No server, no database: we operate no server and keep no database that could hold your data. File content exists only in Google’s infrastructure and in your browser while you use the sidebar, and is discarded when the sidebar is closed.
• Encrypted connections: all communication between your browser, Google and Gumroad uses HTTPS (TLS encryption).
• Minimum permissions: the Add-on asks only for access to the file you have open (*.currentonly) and for permission to show its sidebar. It cannot open other files in your Google Drive, and its server code has no permission to connect to outside services.
• Storage inside your Google account: the only things stored are the license information (if you activate one) and the date you first opened the sidebar (for the 7-day free trial), kept in your Google account’s add-on storage (user properties), which only you can access. It is protected by Google’s security.
• The license key is masked: only its last four characters are shown on screen. The purchase email address returned by Gumroad is not stored or displayed.

Limited Use

The Add-on’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Deleting your data

• The license key: press “Remove the key from this account” (twice) under License in the sidebar.
• The undo record: press “Remove the slides just added”, or start another run (it is replaced each time). The temporary plan is deleted automatically within 6 hours.
• To remove the Add-on’s access entirely: uninstall it from the Google Workspace Marketplace, and remove its access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

We hold no copy of your data, so there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf.

Children

The Add-on is not directed at children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.

• 選んだ写真とそのファイル名・撮影日は、選んだ順番とキャプションで写真を入れるためだけに使います。
• Google ユーザーデータは、これらの機能を利用者に提供するためだけに使います。広告・アクセス解析・プロファイリングには使わず、販売せず、汎用の AI・機械学習モデルの学習にも使いません。

本アドオンが保存するもの

• ライセンスを有効にした場合は、ライセンスキー・有効かどうか・最後に確かめた日時・有効化の回数を、Google アカウントのアドオン用の保存領域（ユーザープロパティ）に保存します。ファイルの中には保存しません。
• サイドバーを初めて開いた日時も、同じ場所に保存します。その日から7日間、有料の機能を無料で試せるようにするためです。外には送りません。
• 最後の1回を元に戻せるように、足したスライドの ID（とプレゼンテーションの ID）をユーザープロパティに保存します。そのスライドを消すか、次に写真を入れるまで残ります。
• 写真を入れている間は、その回の計画（写真のファイル名・撮影日・並べ順）を Google のアドオン用の一時的な保存領域（キャッシュ）に最大6時間置き、その後は自動で消えます。写真そのものは、プレゼンテーションの中以外には残しません。
• それ以外は保存しません。

本アドオンが行わないこと

• 開いているプレゼンテーションの末尾に新しいスライドを足すだけです。既存のスライドを変えたり消したりしません。「いま足したスライドを消す」で消すのは最後の1回で足したスライドだけで、その後に手を加えたものは残します
• Google Drive のファイルを作らず、読まず、変えません
• ファイルの内容を、提供者にも第三者にも送りません
• アクセス解析・トラッキング・広告・Cookie を使いません
• 提供者が利用者のデータを読むことはできません。 そのための仕組みが存在しません

権限（OAuth スコープ）とその理由

drive や drive.readonly は意図的に要求していません。また、本アドオンのサーバー側には外部に通信する権限がありません。

ライセンスの確認について（有料機能のみ）

本アドオンが Google 以外と通信するのは、ライセンスを確かめるときだけです。相手はライセンスの販売元の Gumroad（api.gumroad.com）です。

• いつ：ライセンスキーを入れたときと、その後おおむね週1回（サイドバーを開いたとき。返金や支払いの異議申し立てがされていないかを確かめるため）
• 送るもの：ライセンスキーと商品 ID だけ（と「新しい有効化として数えるか」の印）。ファイルに関するものは送りません
• どうやって：あなたのブラウザから Gumroad へ直接送ります。キーが提供者に送られることはありません
• Gumroad からの応答には、購入時のメールアドレスを含む購入の情報が入っています。本アドオンが使うのは、ライセンスが有効かどうかと有効化の回数だけです。購入時のメールアドレスは保存も表示もしません

Google のユーザーデータの共有・移転・開示

Google のユーザーデータを、誰にも共有・移転・販売・開示しません。広告主・データ業者・アクセス解析の事業者・AI や機械学習のサービスを含む、どの第三者にも渡しません。

• 本アドオンが扱う Google のユーザーデータ（開いているファイルの内容と名前）は、Google の基盤（Google Apps Script）と、あなたのブラウザのサイドバーの中だけで処理します。提供者にも Gumroad にも、ほかの誰にも送りません。
• 本アドオンが Google 以外と通信するのは、ライセンスを確かめるときの Gumroad だけです。送るのはライセンスキーと商品 ID で、Google のユーザーデータではありません。ファイルの内容や Google アカウントの情報は送りません。
• Google のユーザーデータを、汎用の AI・機械学習モデルの開発・改良・学習に使いません。
• 人が Google のユーザーデータを読むことはありません。提供者には読む手段がありません。
• 提供者はデータの写しを持っていないため、法的な求めに応じて開示するものもありません。

データの保護

• サーバー・データベースを持たない：利用者のデータを置くサーバーやデータベースを持っていません。ファイルの内容は、サイドバーを使っている間だけ Google の基盤とあなたのブラウザの中にあり、サイドバーを閉じると消えます。
• 暗号化された通信：ブラウザ・Google・Gumroad の間の通信は、すべて HTTPS（TLS による暗号化）です。

Limited Use（Google のデータの使い方の制限）

本アドオンが Google API から受け取った情報の使用と移転は、Limited Use の要件を含む Google API サービスのユーザーデータに関するポリシーに従います。

データの削除

• ライセンスキー：サイドバーのライセンス欄の「このアカウントからキーを外す」を2回押してください
• 元に戻す記録：「いま足したスライドを消す」を押すか、次に写真を入れると置き換わります。一時的な計画は6時間以内に自動で消えます
• アドオンのアクセスを完全に外す：Google Workspace Marketplace からアンインストールし、myaccount.google.com/permissions でアクセス権を削除してください

提供者は利用者のデータの写しを一切持っていないため、提供者側で削除するものはありません。
