This policy covers the Google Workspace add-on Custom Page Size for Google Docs, including its paid features (“the Add-on”), published by Daily Picks.

Summary

Changes only the page setup (size and margins) of the open document. It does not touch your text or images, and the content of your document is not sent anywhere. It changes the page only after you confirm, and you can undo. We do not operate a server or a database, and we cannot see your files.

What the Add-on reads

Only the file you have open, and only while you use the sidebar: the document’s name, and the page size and margins of its tabs. It never reads your text, images or tables.
The Add-on checks the ID of the open file and refuses any other ID.

What the Add-on stores

If you activate a license, the license key, whether it is valid, when it was last checked and the number of activations are stored in your Google account’s add-on storage (user properties), not in the file.
When you press “Change it”, the page setup from before the change (numbers for size and margins, and tab IDs) is kept in the document’s add-on properties, so that “Undo” can restore it. It is not in the file’s content.
If you save your own page sizes (paid), their names and sizes are stored in your Google account’s add-on storage (user properties).
Nothing else.

What the Add-on does not do

It changes only the page setup (size and margins) of the open document, and only when you press the button and confirm. It does not read or change your text, images, tables, headers or footers.
It does not create, read or change files in your Google Drive.
It does not send your file’s content to us or to any third party.
It does not use analytics, tracking, advertising, or cookies.
We, the developer, cannot read your data. There is no mechanism by which we could.

Permissions (OAuth scopes) and why

We deliberately do not request drive or drive.readonly, and the Add-on has no permission to connect to outside services from its server code.

License verification (paid features only)

The Add-on talks to one service other than Google, and only to check a license: Gumroad (api.gumroad.com), where the license is sold.
– When: when you enter a license key, and about once a week after that, when you open the sidebar (to confirm the purchase has not been refunded or disputed).
– What is sent: only the license key, the product ID, and whether to count this as a new activation. Nothing about your files is sent.
– How: your browser sends it directly to Gumroad. The key is never sent to us.
– Gumroad’s response includes details of the purchase, including the email address used to buy it. The Add-on uses only whether the license is valid and the number of activations. It does not store or display the purchase email address.
– On screen, the key is shown only as its last four characters.
– The free version never contacts Gumroad.
– Gumroad’s handling of this data is governed by Gumroad’s privacy policy.

Sharing, transfer and disclosure of Google user data

We do not share, transfer, sell or disclose Google user data to anyone. This includes advertisers, data brokers, analytics providers, AI or machine-learning services, and any other third party.

The Google user data the Add-on accesses (the page setup and name of the document you have open) is processed only inside Google’s own infrastructure (Google Apps Script) and in the add-on sidebar in your own browser. It is never sent to us, to Gumroad, or to anyone else.
The only service other than Google that the Add-on contacts is Gumroad, and only to check a license. What is sent is the license key and the product ID, which are not Google user data. No document content and no Google account information is sent.
Google user data is not used to develop, improve or train generalized AI or machine-learning models.
No person reads your Google user data. We have no means to access it.
Because we hold no copy of your data, we have nothing to disclose in response to a legal request.

How your data is protected

No server, no database: we operate no server and keep no database that could hold your data.
Encrypted connections: all communication between your browser, Google and Gumroad uses HTTPS (TLS encryption).
Minimum permissions: the Add-on asks only for access to the document you have open (documents.currentonly) and for permission to show its sidebar. It cannot open other files in your Google Drive, and its server code has no permission to connect to outside services.
Storage inside your Google account: the only things stored are your saved sizes and presets and, if you activate one, the license information, kept in your Google account’s add-on storage (user properties), which only you can access. It is protected by Google’s security.
The license key is masked: only its last four characters are shown on screen. The purchase email address returned by Gumroad is not stored or displayed.

Limited Use

The Add-on’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Deleting your data

The license key: press “Remove the key from this account” (twice) under License in the sidebar.
Saved page sizes (paid): delete them one by one in the sidebar.
The undo record: it holds only numbers; it is replaced at the next change, removed when you press “Undo”, and removed together with the document if you delete it.
To remove the Add-on’s access entirely: uninstall it from the Google Workspace Marketplace, and remove its access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

We hold no copy of your data, so there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf.

Children

The Add-on is not directed at children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.

Google のユーザーデータの共有・移転・開示

Google のユーザーデータを、誰にも共有・移転・販売・開示しません。広告主・データ業者・アクセス解析の事業者・AI や機械学習のサービスを含む、どの第三者にも渡しません。

本アドオンが扱う Google のユーザーデータ（開いている文書の用紙設定と名前）は、Google の基盤（Google Apps Script）と、あなたのブラウザのサイドバーの中だけで処理します。提供者にも Gumroad にも、ほかの誰にも送りません。
本アドオンが Google 以外と通信するのは、ライセンスを確かめるときの Gumroad だけです。送るのはライセンスキーと商品 ID で、Google のユーザーデータではありません。文書の内容や Google アカウントの情報は送りません。

Limited Use（Google のデータの使い方の制限）

データの削除

ライセンスキー：サイドバーのライセンス欄の「このアカウントからキーを外す」を2回押してください
保存した型（有料）：サイドバーで1つずつ削除できます
元に戻すための控え：数字だけです。次に変えたとき置き換わり、「元に戻す」を押すと消え、文書を削除すれば一緒に消えます
アドオンのアクセスを完全に外す：Google Workspace Marketplace からアンインストールし、myaccount.google.com/permissions でアクセス権を削除してください

提供者は利用者のデータの写しを一切持っていないため、提供者側で削除するものはありません。
