This policy covers the Google Workspace add-on Solvecell for Google Sheets™, including its paid features (“the Add-on”), published by Daily Picks.

Summary

Reads and writes only cells in this file. The calculation runs inside this panel, and the contents of your file are not sent anywhere. Your variable cells change only when you press Write answer, and Undo puts them back. We do not operate a server or a database, and we cannot see your files.

What the Add-on reads

Only the file you have open, and only while you use the sidebar: the sheet names, and the values of the objective, variable and constraint cells you enter in the sidebar; the address of your current selection, only when you press a “Use selection” button.
The Add-on checks the ID of the open file and refuses any other ID.

What the Add-on stores

If you activate a license, the license key, whether it is valid, when it was last checked and the number of activations are stored in your Google account’s add-on storage (user properties), not in the file.
In the file’s own add-on storage (document properties), not in your Google account: the model you entered (cell addresses and options such as the time limit — no cell values), and, while needed, a copy of the variable cells’ original values so that an interrupted run can be put back and Undo can work.
Nothing else.

What the Add-on does not do

It writes only to the variable cells you name. While solving it briefly puts trial values there and then puts your original values back; it writes the answer only when you press Write answer, and Undo restores the previous values. Cells that depend on them recalculate as usual. It never changes any other cell.
It does not create, read or change files in your Google Drive.
It does not send your file’s content to us or to any third party.
It does not use analytics, tracking, advertising, or cookies.
We, the developer, cannot read your data. There is no mechanism by which we could.

Permissions (OAuth scopes) and why

We deliberately do not request drive or drive.readonly, and the Add-on has no permission to connect to outside services from its server code.

License verification (paid features only)

The Add-on talks to one service other than Google, and only to check a license: Gumroad (api.gumroad.com), where the license is sold.

When: when you enter a license key, and about once a week after that, when you open the sidebar (to confirm the purchase has not been refunded or disputed).
What is sent: only the license key, the product ID, and whether to count this as a new activation. Nothing about your files is sent.
How: your browser sends it directly to Gumroad. The key is never sent to us.
Gumroad’s response includes details of the purchase, including the email address used to buy it. The Add-on uses only whether the license is valid and the number of activations. It does not store or display the purchase email address.
On screen, the key is shown only as its last four characters.
The free version never contacts Gumroad.
Gumroad’s handling of this data is governed by Gumroad’s privacy policy.

Sharing, transfer and disclosure of Google user data

We do not share, transfer, sell or disclose Google user data to anyone. This includes advertisers, data brokers, analytics providers, AI or machine-learning services, and any other third party.

The Google user data the Add-on accesses (the sheet names and the values of the cells you name in the sidebar, in the file you have open) is processed only inside Google’s own infrastructure (Google Apps Script) and in the add-on sidebar in your own browser. It is never sent to us, to Gumroad, or to anyone else.
The only service other than Google that the Add-on contacts is Gumroad, and only to check a license. What is sent is the license key, the product ID and an activation flag, which are not Google user data. No file content and no Google account information is sent.
Google user data is not used to develop, improve or train generalized AI or machine-learning models.
No person reads your Google user data. We have no means to access it.

How your data is protected

The Add-on accesses sensitive Google user data (the contents of your spreadsheet) and protects it as follows:

No developer server or database. Your data is never copied to systems we operate, so there is no copy of it for us to lose or leak.
Processing stays in Google and in your browser. The add-on code runs on Google Apps Script under your own Google account, and the calculation runs in the sidebar in your browser.
Encrypted connections only. Communication between the sidebar and Google, and the license check with Gumroad, use HTTPS (TLS).
Minimum permissions. The spreadsheets.currentonly scope limits access to the file you have open, the Add-on refuses any other file ID, and it requests no Google Drive scope.
Limited storage. Only the items listed in “What the Add-on stores” are kept, in Google’s own add-on storage tied to your account or to the file. No cell values are stored except the temporary copy of your variable cells used for Undo. On screen, the license key is shown only as its last four characters.
No access by people. We cannot read your files or the add-on storage, and no person reviews your data.

Limited Use

The Add-on’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to provide the features you see in the sidebar, and is not used for advertising.

Deleting your data

The license key: press “Remove the key from this account” (twice) under License in the sidebar.
The saved model and the Undo copy: they are stored only in the file’s add-on storage. The Undo copy is removed when you press Undo or when a newer answer replaces it. The saved model holds only cell addresses and options, and the Add-on stops using it once you uninstall the Add-on.
To remove the Add-on’s access entirely: uninstall it from the Google Workspace Marketplace, and remove its access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

We hold no copy of your data, so there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf.

Children

The Add-on is not directed at children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.

ファイルそのものに付くアドオン用の保存領域（ドキュメントプロパティ）に、入力したモデル（セルの位置と時間の上限などの設定。セルの値は含みません）と、途中で止まった計算を戻したり「元に戻す」を使えるようにするための、変数のセルの元の値の控えを、必要な間だけ保存します。Google アカウントの側には保存しません。
それ以外は保存しません。

本アドオンが行わないこと

書き込むのは、あなたが指定した変数のセルだけです。計算のあいだは試しの値を一時的に入れて元の値に戻し、答えは「答えを書き込む」を押したときだけ書き、「元に戻す」で前の値に戻せます。それらを参照するセルは通常どおり再計算されます。それ以外のセルは変更しません

Google のユーザーデータの共有・移転・開示

Google のユーザーデータを、誰とも共有・移転・販売・開示しません。広告主、データ業者、分析サービス、AI・機械学習のサービス、その他の第三者も同じです。

本アドオンが読む Google のユーザーデータ（開いているファイルのシート名と、サイドバーで指定したセルの値）は、Google の環境（Google Apps Script）と、利用者のブラウザ内のサイドバーだけで処理します。提供者・Gumroad・その他の誰にも送りません。
Google 以外に通信する相手は Gumroad だけで、ライセンスの確認のときだけです。送るのはライセンスキー・製品 ID・有効化の印で、Google のユーザーデータではありません。ファイルの中身や Google アカウントの情報は送りません。
Google のユーザーデータを、汎用の AI・機械学習のモデルの開発・改善・学習に使いません。
人が Google のユーザーデータを読むことはありません。提供者が見る手段もありません。

データの保護

本アドオンは機微な Google のユーザーデータ（スプレッドシートの中身）を扱うため、次のように保護しています。

提供者のサーバーやデータベースを持ちません。データを提供者のシステムに複製しないため、提供者の側から失われたり漏れたりする写しがありません。
処理は Google とブラウザの中だけです。アドオンのコードは利用者自身の Google アカウントで Google Apps Script 上で動き、計算はブラウザ内のサイドバーで行います。
通信は暗号化します。サイドバーと Google の間、Gumroad とのライセンス確認は HTTPS（TLS）で行います。
権限は最小限です。spreadsheets.currentonly により開いているファイルだけに限られ、ほかのファイルの ID は受け付けず、Google ドライブの権限は求めません。
保存は最小限です。「本アドオンが保存するもの」に書いたものだけを、アカウントまたはファイルにひもづく Google のアドオン用の保存領域に置きます。元に戻すための変数セルの一時的な控えを除き、セルの値は保存しません。ライセンスキーは画面では末尾4文字だけを表示します。
人は見ません。提供者はファイルやアドオンの保存領域を読めず、人がデータを確認することもありません。

Limited Use（Google のデータの使い方の制限）

本アドオンが Google API から受け取った情報の使用と移転は、Limited Use の要件を含む Google API サービスのユーザーデータに関するポリシーに従います。Google のユーザーデータは、サイドバーで見える機能を提供するためだけに使い、広告には使いません。

データの削除

ライセンスキー：サイドバーのライセンス欄の「このアカウントからキーを外す」を2回押してください
保存したモデルと「元に戻す」の控え：ファイルのアドオン用の保存領域にだけあります。控えは「元に戻す」を押したとき、または新しい答えで置き換わったときに消えます。保存したモデルにはセルの位置と設定しか入っておらず、アドオンをアンインストールすると使われなくなります
アドオンのアクセスを完全に外す：Google Workspace Marketplace からアンインストールし、myaccount.google.com/permissions でアクセス権を削除してください

提供者は利用者のデータの写しを一切持っていないため、提供者側で削除するものはありません。
